This is a little known island that almost everyone overlooks in the San Francisco Bay.
In January of 1998, Fred McCollum retired as the resident naturalist on Brooks Island.
In June of 1997 I initiated a trip to Brooks Island with a bunch of BASKers.
I paddled around Brooks Island in April of 1996.
