Fisk Mill Cove

back to my home page. To see a map of this area.

Ken Kelton and I stop at Fisk Mill cove while on a kayak camping trip.
You can't tell in this picture, but there is the ruins of an old set of stairs here that used to give access to Fisk Mill Cove South.
The next picture has a still working set of stairs at Fisk Mill Cove North. But they are litterally barely hanging on, 1 meter above the ground.

Here are two views of Sintenel Rock from out at sea. You may just be able to make out the railing of the observation platform up there. The trail up the back is quite accessable, I highly recommend the walk.

Here is what the obelisk looks like from the water. In the center of these pictures are two little white streaks on top of the cliff. The white streak on the right is the obelisk, the one on the left is a dead tree stump. Honest!

Here is a distant view of all of Fisk Mill Cove. When I took this picture, I said to myself: "The Obelisk is somewhere in this stretch of coast".
