On January 25th 1998 I went whale watching by kayak with some BASK kayakers.
The whales never stood still long for photographs. This is the best
shot I got of one. The brown wave is the back of a sounding whale.
The egrets were more accomidating about photography.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row where we stopped for a late lunch.
The followng pictures are from a trip Marty and I made together in our kevlar canoe in Monterey Bay on August 13th 1995.
